Our purpose at the Lyndon Independent Baptist Church is to bring people to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, develop them to Christ-like maturity, and equip them for ministry within the local church and their life's mission to the world. The thrust of this philosophy is in the acronym, FEED:

Furnish        - equipping believers for ministry (2 Tim. 3:17)

Evangelize   - bringing people to a saving relationship with Jesus (2 Tim. 2:19)

Encourage   - edifying each member in our assembly (1 Thess. 3:11)

Disciple        - developing believers into a mature Christian (1 Thess. 3:20)
